Animal rescue can happen in so many ways! I am only 13 but I feel I have already, in just under a year, been able to save and impact the lives of countless animals.  Pictured here with me is Storm at a fundraiser bake sale I had Halloween weekend. Storm was my first "real" rescue since I started STAK! His family lives near us so they came to visit! I was able to halp save his life with the help of my mom and some friends in June of 2010...my last day of 7th grade was the day he went to his fur-ever home! That was a bittersweet day for myself and my mom. Please know that you can help save animals in many ways!

There are ways to help raise funds for rescues or humane societies in your area. I was able to raise over $500 for the humane society in Golden Valley MN by walking in the cold wet rain to benefit many four legged friends! Bear was dressed in his raincoat that I puffy painted Save The Animal Kisses on to match my homemade hoodie! I was blessed to have many donations come from my friends on STAK as well as my friends and families! I want to thank you all for helping to contribute!

If you want to try to raise money for a rescue in your area you could help or start a walk for animals there and try to collect donations from people you know and friends of friends and so on. It is not impossible to do anything as long as you try!

Animals all over need help! If you can help volunteer to walk an animal, help clean kennels or even volunteer to fundraise you will be able to make a difference. A bag of food is always needed, blankets, collars and beds are appreciated too!

Advocating for animals on Pet Pardons  http://www.facebook.com/petpardons will help to save lives! Please know that if you advocate on Pet Pardons there are ways to arrange transport for animals across the country!

I am now trying to raise funds from selling STAK t-shirts http://www.lacroixtees.com/animal-rescue/SaveTheAnimalKisses/ I am going to try to raise enough to sponsor a dog off pet pardons and get it to a rescue here in Minnesota and on to it's forever home! I am also praying to raise enough to be able to donate some funds to Ashley and a rescue here that helps abused women keep and feed their pets. It is a new rescue that has recently started.

I want to ask everyone to please help animals in any way possible, it doesn't have to be big every little bit helps! Lets all Adopt and Not Shop! Save lives and stop the need for rescues! Spay and Neuter also!
